Description

The Sabamarketplace initially created to sell products produced from the Saba Innovation Hub is an online marketing site that seeks to market and promote particularly African innovations to the world. Sabamarketplace works with poor artisans from Africa who are producing quality products but their innovations are only limited to where they are produced. The marketplace is to make the marketing of these innovations more visible to the world and attract buyers to improve upon the economic conditions of these startup artisans who are highly creative. This will then encourage these and other youths to go into artisanal ventures as a mean of making a living. Part of the proceeds from the marketplace will be used by the Saba Innovation Hub to promote and sponsor the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Basic Schools while some will be donated to the orphanages to cater for the less privileged ones in our society.
